Chapter 10, Verse 41

यद्यद्विभूतिमत्सत्त्वं श्रीमदूर्जितमेव वा । तत्तदेवावगच्छ त्वं मम तेजोंऽशसम्भवम् ॥

Translation

Whatever is glorious, beautiful, or powerful in this world, know that it springs from a mere fraction of my radiance.

Explanation

'A mere fraction' is the striking phrase — even the most impressive things a person encounters are described as only a partial glimpse of something larger, not the full picture. That framing can be a useful corrective on days when something extraordinary makes ordinary life feel small by comparison.

Reflect

What impressive thing today might actually be a partial glimpse of something even larger than it appeared?
