अवजानन्ति मां मूढा मानुषीं तनुमाश्रितम् । परं भावं जानन्तो मम भूतान्महेश्वरं महेश्वरं महेश्वरम् ॥
Translation
Fools disregard me when I take on a human form, not knowing my higher nature as the great lord of all beings.
Explanation
The verse warns against a common mistake: assuming that something ordinary in appearance must therefore be ordinary in substance. It's worth asking how often that same assumption causes you to underestimate a person, or a moment, that looks unremarkable on the surface.
