इति ते ज्ञानमाख्यातं गुह्याद्गुह्यतरं मया । विमृश्यैतदशेषेण यथेच्छसि तथा कुरु ॥
Translation
Thus I have explained to you knowledge more secret than any secret. Reflect on it fully, then act as you choose.
Explanation
After seventeen chapters of instruction, this verse notably doesn't end in a command — it ends by explicitly returning the decision to Arjuna's own judgment. Real teaching, this suggests, aims at informed freedom, not obedience.
