ब्रह्मणो हि प्रतिष्ठाहममृतस्याव्ययस्य च । शाश्वतस्य च धर्मस्य सुखस्यैकान्तिकस्य च ॥
Translation
I am the foundation of the eternal, imperishable reality, of everlasting righteousness, and of unending joy.
Explanation
Each item in this short list — immortality, righteousness, joy — is described as resting on something even more fundamental. It's worth asking, of any single good thing in your life, what it's ultimately resting on, rather than treating it as free-floating and self-sufficient.
