Chapter 12, Verse 13

अद्वेष्टा सर्वभूतानां मैत्रः करुण एव च । निर्ममो निरहङ्कारः समदुःखसुखः क्षमी ॥

Translation

One who hates no being, who is friendly and compassionate, free of possessiveness and ego, equal in joy and sorrow, and forgiving —

Explanation

None of the qualities listed here are dramatic or rare-sounding — friendliness, compassion, forgiveness. It's a reminder that the path being described isn't necessarily about extraordinary achievement, but about the accumulation of quite ordinary virtues, consistently practiced.
