Ardhanarishvara Stotram — Opening
चाम्पेयगौरार्धशरीरकायै कर्पूरगौरार्धशरीरकाय । धम्मिल्लकायै च जटाधराय नमः शिवायै च नमः शिवाय ॥
chāmpeya-gaurārdha-śharīra-kāyai karpūra-gaurārdha-śharīra-kāya, dhammillakāyai cha jaṭā-dharāya namaḥ śhivāyai cha namaḥ śhivāya
Meaning
To the one whose one half gleams golden like the champa flower and whose other half is fair as camphor, whose one half wears braided hair and whose other half matted locks — salutations to Shiva as goddess, and salutations to Shiva.
