The Bow and the Arrow

प्रणवो धनुः शरो ह्यात्मा ब्रह्म तल्लक्ष्यमुच्यते । अप्रमत्तेन वेद्धव्यं शरवत्तन्मयो भवेत् ॥

praṇavo dhanuḥ śharo hyātmā brahma tal lakṣhyam uchyate, apramattena veddhavyaṁ śharavat tanmayo bhavet

Meaning

Om is the bow, the self is the arrow, and the infinite is called its target. It should be struck with careful attention, becoming one with it as an arrow merges with its mark.
