आयुः कर्म च वित्तं च विद्या निधनमेव च । पञ्चैतानि हि सृज्यन्ते गर्भस्थस्यैव देहिनः ॥
āyuḥ karma cha vittaṁ cha vidyā nidhanam eva cha, pañchaitāni hi sṛijyante garbha-sthasyaiva dehinaḥ
Meaning
Lifespan, one's actions, wealth, knowledge, and the manner of death — these five are said to be determined even while a person is still in the womb.
